SpectraPen LM 510 is a handheld portable spectroradiometer that is ideal as a general-purpose instrument for research and for agricultural applications.

SpectraPen LM 510 measures in radiometric or photometric units the intensity of the light received and is calibrated for visible light in range of 340 – 790 nm and the light in range
of 640 – 1,050 nm.

SpectraPen is especially useful for rapid measurements of spectral light quality, for monitoring of artificial lighting and for quantification of light radiation.

SpectraPen LM 510

SpectraPen LM 510 is a handheld portable spectroradiometer that is ideal as a general-purpose instrument for research and for agricultural applications. SpectraPen LM 510 measures in radiometric or photometric units the intensity of the light received and is calibrated for visible light in range of 340 – 790 nm and the light in range of 640 – 1,050 nm. SpectraPen is especially useful for rapid measurements of spectral light quality, for monitoring of artificial lighting and for quantification of light radiation.

On the SpectraPen touch screen the spectra and intensity readings including correlated color temperature index are instantly displayed. All spectral data are automatically stored into the device internal memory. The SpectraPen includes a comprehensive software package comprising full system control, data acquisition and data processing.

Li-Ion rechargeable battery, splash-proof case and integrated GPS module make SpectraPen an ideal tool for environmental, agricultural and ecological applications such as monitoring of artificial lighting used in horticulture industry or light source testing.

Versions

The SpectraPen LM 510 is a compact, high-performance light meter built around a state-of-the-art spectral sensor module.
The device is available in two spectral ranges, allowing users to select the configuration that best fits their specific measurement needs.

Available Spectral Ranges:

  • UVIS (340–790 nm)
  • VNIR (640–1,050 nm)

    • To accommodate different setups and environments, the SpectraPen LM 510 also comes in two sensor orientation options.

    Sensor Orientation Options:

  • SpectraPen LM-H (Horizontal)
    • Designed for flat placement, the device lies horizontally—ideal for positioning on shelves or in compact spaces. The sensor and display are located on the same side, enabling accurate measurements of light coming from above.

  • SpectraPen LM-V (Vertical)
    • This version features a sensor oriented perpendicular to the display, enabling easy measurement and comfortable reading at the same time. It is ideal for measuring incident light from various directions, including field conditions. The vertical orientation also makes it suitable for measuring light passing through objects, such as a glass bottle containing algae.
